Even before the COVID-19 pandemic, we had a serious epidemic of mental health problems in our country. The last two months has contributed to an additional widespread increase in these problems. 
As part of our mission, we are presenting a series of interactive presentations by leading experts on strategies to deal with the emotional and mental health challenges this pandemic has caused. Strategies that are helpful even beyond it's resolution.

About John B. Bartholomew, Ph.D.

Dr. Bartholomew received his A.B. (with honors) in Psychology from Harvard University, where was a member of the varsity football team. He received his Ph.D. in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Arizona State University. He began as an Assistant Professor at UT Austin in 1996 and he has spent the last 24 years studying physical activity and public health, with a specific interest in mental health and physical activity in elementary schools. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Translation Journal of the American College of Sports Medicine and a Fellow in both the American College of Sports Medicine and the National Academy of Kinesiology.
About Jon Lehrmann, M.D.

Dr. Lehrmann is the Chair and Professor of Psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin . He received his bachelor’s degree from Carroll College and his M.D. degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is board certified in Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Psychiatry and is the Chief Psychiatrist at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. Dr. Lehrmann has numerous awards and honors including being on the Best Doctors in America list on multiple occasions.
About Barbara Moser, M.D.
Prevent Suicide Greater Milwaukee Coalition
Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Dr. Moser advocates for emotional wellness and suicide prevention in the Greater Milwaukee region. She provides leadership for Prevent Suicide Greater Milwaukee, and is an active member of the Executive Committee of WISE (Wisconsin Initiative for Stigma Elimination). She provides education, consultation and training on suicide prevention, compassion resilience and self-compassion, and is involved in numerous mental health initiatives in and around Milwaukee.
Dr. Moser is a board-certified family practice physician, received her MD from Northwestern University in Chicago, and completed her family practice residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester MA.
About Nick Wignall, Ph.D.
The Cognitive Behavioral Institute of Albuquerque
Albuquerque, New Mexico
Nick Wignall graduated with a UD English degree in 2007, and after teaching middle school for a couple of years, decided to pursue graduate training in psychology. He received his MA in Social Sciences from The University of Chicago and his PhD in Clinical Psychology from UT Southwestern.
Currently a clinical psychologist specializing in cognitive-behavioral therapy for anxiety, Nick works as a post-doctoral fellow at The Cognitive Behavioral Institute of Albuquerque where he does individual psychotherapy with teens, young adults, and adults.
